Evaluación de la contaminación ambiental en la playa el Murciélago y su Influencia en el turismo.

Abstract

El Murcielago beach is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Manta canton, which according to previous studies has a high pollution index, therefore, resulting from evaluating the impact of environmental pollution on tourist activities. on this beach The methodological process to achieve the objective of this research was the content analysis, the bibliographic review and the field work applying the non-probabilistic method and finally the analysis of the results of 135 surveys applied to the tourists that affected the El Murcielago beach during the month of February 2020 and three (3) tourism service providers operating in the attraction. Through the theoretical framework, it is possible to identify the types of environmental pollution that exist on beaches and list the tourist activities that are carried out in the measurements. The affected results were that there is greater affectation in submerged activities such as diving, snorkeling, swimming and in non-submerged activities such as walks and sunbathing; specifically the exponential study of the percentage of concern that tourists and operators have about the pollution that deteriorates the beach; Lastly, recommendations are proposed to level the level of impact of environmental pollution on specific tourist activities.
