Evaluación de la percepción de la opinión pública relacionada a las actividades turísticas post covid-19 a través del criterio de usuario en la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted tourism activities and has limited its development to the year that currently has taken place since the first signs of confinement were alerted, due to the ease with which the virus can affect people if they are dispersed in large groups of people as it is in tourism and its derivatives. Knowing the public opinion of the citizens of Manta is important to determine future tourism development plans and how they will develop after the same pandemic ends. The purpose of the research is to develop an article that evidences the public opinion of citizens through the user study, a tool to measure aspects related to people's interests and opinion polls, which help to probe different opinions and the relevance they have in the population. The research methodology has a mixed approach, using the opinion survey and the user's criteria to obtain and represent the data. The results showed a notable concern to comply with biosafety regulations, but not yet a complete optimization, use and adaptation of its resources to the new paradigms of post-COVID-19 tourism. The research formally concludes that people are expectant about how tourism will develop without the virus, but with the firm conviction that tourism must evolve to something more sustainable to promote healthy, responsible activities and optimize resources with better results.
