Resumen : | Manabí gastronomy is a factor of great persuasion in the destinations of the province and also incurs as an attraction for the arrival of tourists in the Jaramijó canton. This territory has very appetizing dishes for both national and foreign visitors, among the most outstanding are those made from seafood and Creole food. The current investigation as such consisted in carrying out an in-depth analysis of the incidence of Manabí gastronomy in the influx of tourists in the Jaramijó canton, province of Manabí. In order to carry out this project, methods such as inductive and deductive were used, research techniques were also used: survey and interview. The results indicate that Manabí gastronomy does contribute to the arrival of tourists to the Jaramijó canton, however, there are disagreements that do not allow the growth of the activity. Among these problems are the lack of preparation of tourism service providers when serving the client, there is also no adequate infrastructure and relevant signs. The proposal of activities designed to counteract these deficiencies contains such as: holding events on typical Manabí dishes to increase the arrival of tourists, training service personnel, more promotion and publicity, among others. In this sense, local authorities are urged to study and apply the strategies proposed in this research, to contribute to the development of tourist activities in the Jaramijó canton. |

Este territorio posee platos muy apetecidos por los visitantes tanto nacionales como extranjeros, entre lo que más destacan se encuentran los elaborados a base de mariscos y comida criolla. |
