La ética profesional como fuente de desarrollo al turismo, en el cantón Manta.

Abstract

The investigation consists of revealing the current situation based on the application of ethics in the tourist companies of the Manta canton, Manabí. Ethics in tourism is a fundamental factor for the development of society and tourism is not separated from this common goal. The responsibility of the tourism professional to attend and take care of the tourist is fundamental, as well as to promote the care and protection of the environment; platform where tourist activity takes place. In the development of the investigation, the analytical-synthetic method was used, and the review of official documents and bibliographic review were used. The methodology of this project was structured in 2 stages: 1. Characteristics of the field of study and 2. Preparation of the action plan. The results allow making decisions which are aimed at improving the application of ethics in the tourism field in this canton. The evaluation of this aspect must be taken into consideration, since it is one of the determining pillars to achieve social cohesion, which is very productive for the development of society and therefore for the massification of tourism. The final proposal of this research is focused on improving the most questioned aspects based on the ethics of tourism professionals. It contains strategies that will help to enhance weaknesses through carrying out the proposed activities.
