Resumen : | Traditional medicine encompasses a wide variety of therapies and practices that vary between countries and between regions, in some countries referred to as "alternative" or "complementary" medicine. It has been in use for thousands of years, and its practitioners have contributed greatly to human health. The current research is aimed at revealing the appreciations of the people who are dedicated to the practice of ancestral medicine in the Agua Blanca commune and based on these results, develop a proposal that allows the rescue of the ancestral values of this activity. In this, the quantitative paradigm model was applied, the result being clear about the reality of the phenomenon under study and the relationship that must exist with the phenomenon of interest. For the development of the research, the analytical-synthetic, inductive methods were used, in addition two questionnaires were applied, the survey was applied to national and international tourists who have visited the town, while the interview was applied to people who are dedicated to the practice of this activity. The results provided in this work show that 96% of the respondents agree with the rescue of the values of traditional medicine in this community. At the end, a proposal is elaborated, which contains several guidelines that are oriented to the preservation and maintenance of these activities related to traditional medicine in the Agua Blanca commune. |
