Fábulas de Esopo: Una narrativa de reflexiones y valores en los estudiantes.

Abstract

The present work focused on analyzing axiological formation in depth through the study of Aesop's fables. The exploration of certain fables that belong to the narrative and didactic genre reflects human nature, offering a deep and reflective vision of the behaviors of man who, being vulnerable to different contexts such as the current time and space of great immorality, considers it necessary to reflect. and deal with the different methods and forms so that through knowledge we also contribute to the conservation and practice of human values. It is proposed to rescue the richness of these fables and adapt them in an innovative way through educational talks. The methodology was mixed in nature; analytical, bibliographical and descriptive method; interview and survey technique, applied to 23 eighth-grade parallel “B” students of the Fiscal Educational Institution “Camilo Ponce Enríquez”. The findings found that the students' reading habit is at a medium level, that is, they can read, but not understand, texts. Through the didactic talk, it was evident that reading is a fundamental axis for reading comprehension that gives way to critical thinking. The recreational activity linked to Aesop's fables, based on readings, dramatizations and analysis, created a significant learning environment. where the students were observed to be attentive, motivated and, above all, they managed to understand the message implicit in the oral narratives, in addition to directing their critical thinking towards the context of current society.
