Abstract

La Pila evidences a low local economic income from the sale of non-qualified products, presenting a wide level of social inequality in several aspects. And the economy is therefore depressed and the artisans do not have a strong and dynamic economy due to the lack of constant training, La Pila rural parish of Montecristi in the province of Manabí is a commune that is dedicated to craft activities but has not their condition has been taken advantage of to promote commercial activities at another level, they currently have a low economic income, therefore their level of endogenous development is very deficient, this can be seen, why the population presents inequality and as a result does not have the collective rights to develop with efficiency. The objective of this thesis is to develop the architectural proposal of a business craft center to promote craft tourism ventures in the parish "La Pila", to repower the Manabi culture and thus preserve the intangible heritage. The methodology used in this study has been through field research and the use of surveys and interviews with users. The result of this thesis is the architectural proposal of a business craft center, the proposal as such aims to have uses of multifunctional spaces through a public square and one in the area of shops, it will also have training workshops and classrooms with the in order to promote artisan activity and places where they make their products, improving promoting the economic development of the tourism sector, thus allowing social cohesion and endogenous development where artisans are more organized and can transmit better skills in the work of artisan production, thus improving their quality of life conditions.
