Análisis de los espacios públicos existentes y propuesta de regeneración urbana en la parroquia Eloy Alfaro del cantón Manta.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to carry out the analysis of the existing public space and urban regeneration proposal in the Eloy Alfaro Parish, located in the city of Manta-Manabí-Ecuador, contributing in such a way that a project is developed based on an environment harmonious and landscape that has a positive impact on the comfort of both the inhabitants and the those who visit the town. The area to be studied has presented in several strategic points, dynamic spaces, which over the years have deteriorated spatially and in accordance with the diagnosis that is presented in the analysis, the proposal will be made, identifying the factors causing the deterioration of public space. The idea to defend is to recover public spaces that are deteriorated due to their use, since there is no control by the relevant authorities and an existing problem is the lack of management, attention, maintenance and abandonment of spaces, being a case that may worsen over time, taking into account that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused negative effects that have contributed to the disuse of these public spaces are of extremely important for recreation, socialization and even for the economy of these communities. In the development of this work, the analytical methods were used. descriptive and observational. The results obtained allowed the generation of guidelines for the urban regeneration proposal divided into: health, cultural, historical and recreational, in such a way way that allows for a comprehensive and integrated vision and action that leads to the solution of urban, economic, physical, social and environmental problems of the area to be intervened. Inside From the population and sample part, the population in the parish is 47,255 inhabitants and decided to carry out 381 surveys which allowed us to identify and interpret those problems that the sector has through the questions that were asked, serving as a guide to make the proposal, taking into account the opinion of the inhabitants and authorities.
