Visibilización de la literatura manabita para valorar su identidad cultural.

Abstract

Knowing about Manabita literature has been a challenge for the authors of the province. This research project “Visibilization of Manabita literature to value its cultural identity”, explores the impact of social networks that allow local authors such as; Johnny Prado Zambrano, Ronald Mero and Nefi Lara, to reach a wider audience. Well, we know that digital platforms have opened new opportunities for these writers to be recognized, and to strengthen the sense of identity and cultural belonging. In addition, we analyze how digital platforms, events and cultural workshops contribute to value and make visible the richness of Manabi literature, to promote their appreciation of the province. Consequently, the literature of the province, in spite of having a great weight for its literary expression related to the beautiful mountains, its rivers, immense seas and its entertaining customs, is not totally valued, in spite of the fact that many local writers express their characters in handwriting or digitally, the visibilization that is given is not deserved, for this; The methodology applied has a qualitative approach of contextual character, under a hermeneutic methodology of descriptive level, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the previously mentioned authors and an exhaustive bibliographic review. In this way, significant results were achieved, among them, to be part of the creation and dissemination of a book whose essence is the cultural identity of Manabí. Ultimately, there are strategies at the time of publishing a book, the support they receive from the municipality or reading workshops.
