Resumen : | The learning of Language and Literature is essential for third-grade children as it provides them with basic reading and writing skills, allowing them to develop the ability to express themselves coherently, understand diverse texts, and foster critical and creative thinking. Dysgraphia, a writing disorder that affects these skills, significantly impacts academic performance. At Unidad Educativa Carlos Vélez Verduga, many third -grade students present motor or psychomotor difficulties that affect their writing, confirmed by local studies and teacher observations. This descriptive study, focusing on the importance of addressing dysgraphia, aimed to analyze its impact on the learning of Language and Literature among third-grade students during the 2024 academic period. The specific objectives included theoretically grounding the variables of dysgraphia and learning, identifying the types of dysgraphia present, and verifying the level of learning in Language and Literature. Using a quantitative approach and methods such as questionnaires and statistical analysis, information was collected from 60 students and 10 teachers. The results revealed that the majority of students (51.7%) scored poorly on writing tests, highlighting t he urgent need for personalized educational interventions. The study unveiled that dysgraphia significantly affects the learning of Language and Literature and that implementing appropriate support programs is essential to help students overcome these challenges. These findings will serve as a model for other educational institutions facing similar challenges. |
