Comportamiento productivo en toretes mestizos bajo pastoreo mediante la aplicación de implantes Anabólicos en la Finca Tigrillo de la Extensión Chone de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, año 2024.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the productive behavior in crossbred bulls under grazing through the application of Anabolic implants in the Tigrillo Farm of the Chone Extension of the Eloy Alfaro Lay University of Manabí, where the bibliographic review was used using the following methods: empirical, analysis – synthesis, induction – deduction and statistical analysis. The experimental units were made up of 15 crossbred bulls with an average weight of 200 kilograms (Kg), where the productive behavior was evaluated due to the application of products anabolic, resulting in the increase in body weight increasing over time in all of them. The treatments with a slight increase with the application of solid anabolic implants of Compudose followed by the treatment that applied liquid anabolic implants of Boldenone and with a lower average than the control. However, the application of anabolic implants has no influence on the development of crossbred bulls, although they are widely used for productive purposes. It was revealed in the investigation that during the 150 days of investigation the implants did not vary between them and the control.
