Impacto de las bebidas ancestrales en el desarrollo y fortalecimiento turístico de Manta.

Abstract

In Ecuador there is a diversity of ancestral drinks, which represent the identity of the country's regions, which use different herbs, plants, fruits, among other ingredients, to be made. Ecuador has a cultural wealth that has been maintained over time and has been transmitted between generations. The topic of this research, with the general objective “Impact of ancestral drinks on the strengthening and development of tourism in Manta; contribution to the economy” takes as a reference the gastronomic variety that exists in the country, with the use and marketing of ancestral drinks, in addition to how they are being carried out in the tourism sector, mainly in the city of Manta to enhance its development and visibility. The research methods that were used to collect all the pertinent information and be able to learn more about the topic discussed are theoretically explained. The results obtained in the tabulations show the thoughts and beliefs of the participants and establishment owners about whether ancestral drinks are really being used for their cultural contribution.
