Análisis de los eventos en los hoteles 4 y 5 estrellas de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) refers to activities based on the organization of business events, corporate conventions, weddings, among others, due to its great growth potential and positive economic impact on the cities where they are executed. The main objective of this project is to analyze the different events in 4 and 5 star hotels and their economic-tourist contribution to Manta`s City. Therefore, the different events in hotels of this range will be evaluated in conjunction with trained people from the area and exhibited rooms and thus be able to identify the segment that they are directed to with truthful information. At the same time, it seeks to demonstrate the benefits of this hotel sector and build loyalty through technological tools to encourage tourists, guests and others that the city is an excellent place for any type of event. For this reason, a qualitative research was carried out by applying a structured interview to key personnel involved in the development of this activity within the hotel destination of the city of Manta, as well as bibliographic sources in order to collect specific information and obtain data that contribute to the construction of this project.
