Abstract

This essay presents a study that explores visual impairment and how a haptic-auditory artwork can electrically and robotically impact the lack of artistic spaces for sighted individuals in Manta 2024. The lack of artistic spaces for blind people, who are unable to touch a work of art, is a problem that goes unnoticed in museums and places in Manta. This study seeks to explore how haptic-auditory artwork can create artistic spaces for works for blind people and, through them, explore their emotions, defined by verbal descriptions in museums. This current project proposes a research methodology based on artistic intention, object, scope, and impact achieved through a work of art. The focus is on the haptic-auditory sense, perceiving the form, spatiality, and auditory balance. Exploring the electric-robotic dimension of the artistic experience. The objective is to determine how a haptic work, through the auditory sense, can electrically and robotically influence the elicitation of emotions and sensations in people in Manta 2024. Therefore, a survey was conducted that corresponds to 385 people surveyed through telematics via eForms, highlighting as a main result that 73.8% consider that emotional communication through the abstract influences the electric-robotic and artistic interaction.
