dc.description.abstractTeaching strategies are necessary for a meaningful teaching and learning process. Teachers must innovate during their classes to develop students' communication skills, resulting in participatory and proficient students. However, educators face the challenge of motivating students to express themselves in public. This is how the present research entitled "Teaching Strategies that Strengthen the Oral Communication Skills of 10th Grade Students at the Juan Montalvo Fiscomisional Educational Unit" in the Manta canton for the period 2024-2025 arises. The objective is to analyze teaching strategies that allow strengthening oral communication skills. It has a deductive-analytical methodology that starts from general theoretical principles and analyzes them with specific data and action research that allows the researcher to actively engage in the process in order to observe, reflect, and intervene. Using a mixed approach, the qualitative approach seeks to gain in-depth understanding from the perspective of the participants themselves; the quantitative approach collects data that measure the level of communicative skills possessed by the research subjects. The descriptive approach characterizes the educational reality related to the use of teaching strategies and whether they are sufficient for the development of students' oral competence. The instruments used were an interview with language and literature teachers, and a rubric was used to diagnose the level of students' oral communicative skills.es
