Resumen : | The present research work is based on narrative as a methodology for the creation of short stories, where students can improve their writing of short texts, within their educational stage; as well as, in their personal life, obtaining a wide development at the moment of writing in an unpublished way. The Storyboard is the use of a series of images to devise a short story, which has its narrative structure and also in graphic form. The application of methodological strategies allows students to learn writing in a didactic and creative way. In this field of research, the use of the methodology based on a mixed approach was implemented, with the application of interviews to teachers to know and corroborate how the students' way of writing was. As for the students, 26 students were surveyed before and after the application of Storyboard, with which they developed the writing work; in addition to the descriptive study and direct observation. The results provided by the teachers are the existence of shortcomings at the time of writing a story, and by the students the development of writing skills after learning about the methodological strategies. To conclude, narrative is fundamental for the development of writing skills in students, and the theory of narrative should be explained. To achieve this purpose, the use of writing tools, such as the Storyboard, is propitious, facilitating students to structure their ideas. |
